Sony Ericsson announces couple of Walkman-phones
The Sony Ericsson Zylo and Spiro are typical Walkman phones, affordable and with communication and entertainment properties.
You'd forget that these days phones are multi-purpose, however there are users who just want to call with a phone. The new Sony Ericsson Zylo and Spiro offer more than that, but they are simple and easy in use.

Fact is that the Zylo and Spiro are in sync with social networks as Twitter, Facebook and Hyves and offer the typical Sony Ericsson Walkman functionalities as the TrackID music recognition which in 2009 was used 129 million times. Both devices have been designed through the 'human curvature' philosophy which Sony Ericsson applied on the X10.
High Definition FLAC
The Zylo and Spiro are extra special because of the music compressiontechnique FLAC which debutes on both devices. High Definition FLAC is an open source lossless audio codec which offers a unprecendented high soundquality. Music files will be compressed down to about 50 to 60 percent without losing out on quality.

The Sony Ericsson Spiro is a 2 megapixel camera slider with built-in FM radio receiver with RDS. The Zylo is just as the Spiro a slider but with a 3.2 megapixel camera. Both devices are equipped with a QVGA resolution screen. Strange is that only the simpler Spiro has a 3.5 mm audio jack connection. The Zylo and Spiro are obtainable as of Q3 this year.
