AMOLED DotDisplay: colourful and remarkably bright

The Redmi Note 10S looks like a Samsung phone. We mean that in a positive way. The screen has a small punch-hole for the selfie camera, and it's also right in the middle. It is an AMOLED panel with colourful display and is known for its deep blacks. Samsung also applies this formula a lot lately. The 6.43 inch format sounds large but in practise it is remarkably compact. The maximum brightness is 1100 nits, which is remarkably high for this price category.

Pretty good with sound

On the back of the Redmi Note 10S, we find a Quad Camera whose maximum resolution is 64MP. That's high and thanks to the f/1.79 lens also excellent for taking clear shots during dusk. There is also an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera with wide 118° viewing angle, a 2MP macro camera and 2MP deep camera. The camera doesn't stick out very far and so do its results. Those can be called average at best. The Redmi Note 10S should rather rely on its audio qualities. Sound is extra good and clear thanks to the stereo speakers.

Inside just as beautiful

From the outside, the Redmi Note 10S looks beautiful but as is often the case, a beautiful inside counts too. There we find a large 5000 mAh battery with an excellent battery life of several days. Neat is the speed at which an empty battery can be recharged. Mi Turbo Charge ensures that 33W of power is used. That is more than competitors Samsung and Apple currently offer. And all that for a fraction of the price and Xiaomi just puts the charger in the box.

Incredibly cheap

The Redmi Note 10S is powered by a MediaTek Helio G95 with at least 6GB of up to 8GB of RAM. That combination makes for enjoyable and useable performance. Neat also is that the case is somewhat water resistant: IP53. Actually, this is spray proof so full immersion may be its end. So be careful with this. And then we have to talk about the price. It is unbelievably low. Take advantage of that and make it even harder on the competition.
