Sharper picture

At Samsung, the way it works is that the lower the type number, the simpler the product. And because Samsung starts counting from 10, you don't need to have studied mathematics to figure out how the A13 fits the bill. Simple but therefore also affordable. Or as we prefer to say, accessible. For relatively little money you get a large 4G smartphone with long battery life and decent cameras. The screen measures a spacious 6.6 inches and has a V-shaped notch at the top for the 8 megapixel camera. Screen edges have been kept to a minimum as a result. Compared to the A12 from a year ago, this A13 has a much sharper image. Full HD+ ensures that text and videos are sharp.

Versatile camera

On the back of the Galaxy A13 we find a 50MP main camera. That's higher than the competition and even higher than Samsung uses in its own more expensive segment. It's not the only camera, you'll also find a 5MP ultra-wide angle that allows you to get extra much in the picture. Furthermore, there is a 2MP macro and a 2MP depth camera with which you can shoot extreme close-ups or portrait photos. Two-day battery life with fast charging

As with many other Galaxy A phones, Samsung applies a battery large enough for 2 days of use. So too with this Galaxy A13. With a capacity of 5000mAh, you should definitely make it two days. Once empty, you can quickly recharge it with 25W. The presence of fast charging is quite special in this price segment. However, the A13 is not very powerful. The processor has eight cores but they are not very special. The entry-level model comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. There is also a version with 6GB of RAM memory and 128GB of storage. The more RAM memory the faster you can switch between apps. The more storage memory the more content like photos and apps you can store. This is still expandable afterward via a memory card.
