Nokia G10 product description
The Nokia G10 is an affordable smartphone with a new name. Nokia is switching to serial names starting with a letter, and this G10 is one of the first ones. Let's seise this moment to tell you more about this strategy and what the G10 can and cannot.
Luv It, Trust It & Keep It
Announced along with the X and C in 2021, the Nokia G series follows the "Luv It, Trust It & Keep It" philosophy. For this G10, that means you get 3 days of battery life (Luv It), 3 years of monthly security updates (Trust It) and 2 years of Android upgrades (Keep It). That's a decent promise for a phone at this price. After all, it is not very high. Still, you get a 6.5-inch screen, 3 cameras with AI functions and above-average battery life in return.

King of the batteries
The battery has a capacity of 5050mAh but because the G10 runs a bare version of Android (Android One) there are no unnecessary apps that consume energy. And by recognising how you use your phone during the day, the G10 automatically puts unused apps to sleep. All to get even more out of your battery. Recharging the battery does take a while; there is no quick charge function.

Long-term support
Inside the Nokia G10, a MediaTek Helio G25 processor with 3GB of RAM memory is used. That combination does not deliver very strong performance, so a hiccup here and there is no stranger to it. And that is reflected in the price. The amount of plastic is also a pity. Not only the entire back is made of plastic but also the frame inside. One advantage of plastic is that it doesn't break right away like glass often does. Still, the G10 feels less expensive than some of its competitors in the budget segment. This Nokia is mainly due to its long-term software support.
