The Motorola Moto E7 Plus is a smartphone with large battery from the cheaper Moto E series. It features a dual camera on the back and a large screen on the front. But the real plus is on the inside. A 5000 mAh large battery with long battery life. You can read exactly how long here.
The Moto E7 Plus is a relatively inexpensive smartphone. You can tell from the materials used. There is mainly a lot of plastic used. That also has its advantages. Fingerprints remain hardly visible and the device can take a beating. A fall doesn't mean the end. The front screen measures a neat 6.5 inches with a modern 20:9 ratio. It is an IPS screen with a realistic colour reproduction and an HD+ resolution. It could be sharper, think Full HD, but it will be sufficient for every-day use. The selfie camera sits in a cut-out (notch) at the top and has a more than neat 8MP of resolution. Handy is the smile timer where you can shoot a selfie without hands.
On the back, we see a dual camera. This is a 48MP main camera with pixel binning (Quad Pixel technology). This means that 4 pixels are used to make 1 better exposed pixel. So you shoot clear photos of 12MP in size. The lens also helps, as it has a maximum aperture of f/1.7, which is particularly bright in this price category. Also in other reviews, we see that the camera of the Moto E7 Plus scores better than similar models with the same price. You can even save photos in the RAW format, something that is usually only possible with expensive high-end smartphones.
Inside, this E7+ uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 processor at up to 1.8 GHz. This is an entry-level chipset but it still has a nice amount of RAM memory of 4GB. Inside is also where we find the 5000 mAh large battery. More than enough for a day's use, and if you are frugal enough you can even manage 2 days. Charging can be done with up to 10W so plan some hours to fully charge it again. That will have to be done by wire, because there is no wireless charging. Unlocking your Moto E7 Plus is done with the fingerprint scanner on the back or via facial recognition. So there is something to choose from. Note that the casing is water resistant and not waterproof. A few drops should be okay, but we don't recommend going completely underwater.
