Samsung will soon introduce the new Diva series....
Soon to be expected; the new "feminine" phones by Samsung, the Diva series. Both the Samsung S5150 'Olivia' as the S7070 will be part of this line. Female consumers should relate to these phones.
Whether women relate to these phones we would like to hear from our female audience! Samsung left both devices "behind" at a trade fair, of which GSMArena made good use of. This not to the liking of Samsung because the original article has been removed. Luckily enough we still have the pictures.
Samsung S5150 Olivia
Starting with the Samsung S5150 which will probably receive the petname 'Olivia'. Olivia is a clamshell phone. The reflecting, mirrored shell isn't very smooth. When opened, a 2.2 inch QVGA resolution monitor is visible. It has a 3 megapix camera.
A few LED lights adorn the outside. Whether this is just a cosmetic addition is unknown. However these LED lights will indicate missed calls or incoming textmessages.
Samsung S7070
The second device is the Samsung S7070. No fancy nickname. This concerns a phone with a 3 inch WQVGA touchscreen. The S7070 is accomodated with Samsung's TouchWiz userinterface. Dragging widgets to your desktop is easily done.
The specs of the S7070 are slightly better then those of the Olivia, mainly because of a 5 megapix camera including autofocus, Bluetooth, an FM radio and support for MicroSD memorycards.
Both devices have not been officially introduced and all of the attributes are not yet known. When the devices will be up for sale or the prices thereof is not yet known, but are expected in Q1 of 2010. We will keep you posted!
