Press renders show Xiaomi 14, confirms Leica camera
It looks like the official press images of the Xiaomi 14 are out in the open. They show the device in detail, giving us a good look at the three cameras on the back with Leica branding.
According to previous rumours, the Xiaomi 14 will be announced soon, possibly as late as October 2023. We were sceptical about this rumour because we had not seen any images until now. That changes today with the photos below.
The 6.36" tall Xiaomi 14 closely resembles an iPhone with its straight sides. Xiaomi does not seem to be the only one copying Apple in this regard. Recently, it was also revealed that the future Samsung Galaxy S24 will use this design style.
Leica camera
On the back of the Xiaomi 14, we see three cameras from Leica. They sit on a square island, including a flash. According to the image that appeared on Weibo, a Leica VARIO-SUMMILUX lens is used.
Xiaomi announced not long ago that it would reveal the Xiaomi 14 on Oct. 26. This will be the first device with its new HyperOS platform, which is the successor to MIUI that Xiaomi used for years.
