Rounded entry-level Google Pixel 8a seen in photos

We know that Google will announce the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro on Oct. 4. But what about the inexpensive Pixel 8a? Will that one be coming, too? Eventually, it will, but not in October. But don't worry; we have fresh photos of the device.

Because Google has already released images of the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro, we can easily compare them to the surfaced Pixel 8a. The back is unmistakeably similar to the Pixel 8 Series, but those curves are not.

Only the first Google Pixel had relatively strong curves; after that, the corners were mainly angular. That seems to change with the Google Pixel 8a. It's remarkable because the Pixel A has mostly resembled its brothers anyway. According to the source of the photos, the Pixel 8a will get the same Tensor G3 chipset as the 8 series, but may lack some functionality. The same strategy Google is applying to the 7-series.

Jade or Sky Blue

For now, we only get to see images of the alleged Pixel 8a in blue. Also, the Pixel 8 will get a blue version called 'Jade,' and for the Pixel 8 Pro, the blue version is called 'Sky Blue.' The device's unveiling is most likely scheduled for the first half of 2024.
