Asus is working on Samsung Omnia competition
We were quite surprised when we saw some pictures of a Asus smartphone that seems to have quite some similarities with the Samsung Omnia. The Glaxy7 should help Asus to regain their place in the top.
Last week the Asus announced the Asus P552w. This time, Asus is bringing us the Glaxy7. It seems a competition of the recently available Samsung Omnia.
There isn't much known about the Asus Glaxy7, what's probably the temporarily code name. Except the fact that it is a Windows Mobile 6.1 smartphone with a high resolution QVGA display. This are 800 x 480 pixels!
The device will probably have 3G features and even WiFi. Support for AGPS and microSD is also pretty feasible. A 5 megapixel camera, tracking ball and 4GB of internal memory are standard.
We're especially curious about the final specifications and features, but mainly about the final date the Omnia-killer get's available. Asus really got the headlines, we already start to forget the Lamborghini.
