Android worldwide larger than iPhone
Android has beaten Apple in the run for customers. For the first time, the operating system has more users than Apple. The numbers are convincing. Compared to the same period last year, Android grew 886%.
The numbers in the survey of Canalys may be bigger that expected, but the fact that there is growth is hardly surprising. Compared to last year, there are more manufacturers creating more Android handsets. Companies like HTC, Samsung and Motorola have invested in developing a range of Android phones that can be seen on all corners of the street.
