Ballmer: free Windows Phone 7 handset for interns as well
Steve Ballmer, CEO at Microsoft, has some good money to spend. A few weeks ago, it came in the news that all 90.000 Microsoft employees would get a new smartphone with Windows Phone 7. Back then, there was no deal for interns.
At Microsofts recruitment office, there was no budget to buy a brand new phone for interns. "I have budget", was Ballmers stunningly simple reply. The free handset will be a nice addition to the otherwise small compensation an intern gets.
