BlackBerry announces sixth version of its own OS
In an internet video, Blackberry manufacturer RIM shows the functionality of its new mobile operating system BlackBerry 6. The OS will be launched this summer, RIM says. The video shows, among other functions, the new browser.
The short movie, that was published on the official BlackBerry YouTube channel, furthermore shows a new social media application and a built-in media player.
Stylish interface
Unfortunately, the video doesn't display the new OS running on one of BlackBerry's own smart phones, but shows an animation instead. However, the film gives a good impression of new options. With its smooth graphics an stylish interface, BlackBerry 6 is a promising new platform.
