First Intel powered MeeGo phone up and running
One of the first Intel powered phones has surfaced on Twitter. The handset is running the new operating system MeeGo. The owner of the website Carrypad received the phone and immediately put a picture online.
The Aava Moorestown is a development phone that already is historical at its release. For the first time, a working phone has been created with a x86 processor under the hood. Until now, x86 was mainly used in computers and netbooks with Intel processors.

MeeGo Alpha
Since a couple of days, a video showing a working MeeGo phone is available on Youtube. It's not a coincidence that this Intel phone is running MeeGo. The chip manufacturer is, together with Nokia, one of the partners in the Linux-based project.
