Profit Nokia decreases with 90 procent
Nokia has published its company results of the first quarter of 2009; Nokias profit has decreased with 90% in comparison to last year. Analysts do not seem to be surprised.
The stock of Nokia (NYSE:NOK) reported 11% profit last week. This is due to the fact that the decrease of profit isn't a huge surprise. But, nevertheless, the fact that the stock has increased is remarkable.
The company sold in the first quarter 93,2 million mobile phones, a decrease of 19% in comparison to the same period last year. The profit was 122 million Euro, against 1,22 milliard last year.
