Acre returns to the phone market with these phones
Acerpure Acerone Liquid S162E4 and S272E4 do not have the prettiest name
The last time we wrote about Acre was in 2016, when it announced the Liquid Z6 and Z6 Plus during the IFA trade show in Berlin. In early 2017, the company announced it was discontinuing phones. It is now returning to that with the introduction of the Acerone Liquid S162E4 and Liquid S272E4.
The two new Liquid phones are expected in March 2025. Both are relatively simple phones with MediaTek processors and a drop-in notch for the selfie camera. The phones won't make much of an impression, especially considering the confusing naming scheme, but you have to start somewhere.

Acre seems to be using a new name for its new phone line; Acerpure. Acre also uses this name for its website where the new phones are presented. The Liquid S162E4 is a dual-band smartphone with 4G support only, a 6.5" HD+ display, MediaTek Helio P35 chip and with 4GB of RAM memory and 64GB storage. The battery measures 5000 mAh and, as far as we can judge, cannot be charged quickly.
Liquid S272E4
The also announced Liquid S272E4 is not much more comprehensive. Here a slightly larger 6.75-inch HD display, also without 5G, but with the same MediaTek Helio P35 chip. However, the 16MP camera of the S162E4 has been swapped for a higher resolution 20MP one.

Given the lack of 5G on both phones, we suspect they won't be launched everywhere. And besides, it is very crowded in this segment to get a foothold. Provided, of course, that the price is so low that we can't ignore the new models.
How expensive both Liquid phones will be we will hear on March 25 when they are officially launched. Then we'd also like to hear where we can buy them all.
