Sony is still considering its own PSP-phone
The brawl between Sony and Ericsson seemed tempered. Sony Ericsson introduced new devices with potential to the market and Sony seemed to have stepped of the idea to introduce its own phone. Deceptive appearance?
Sony does want to compete with for instance Apple, by creating its own phone, a breed between a netbook, e-reader and a PSP. It it's up to us the Bravia line may be added, because where are the promised phones with TV possibilities?
This future device shall compete directly with Apple's announced iPad, which does not have a callfunction but rumours are that it will be applied in the future. Furthermore the new Sony product will need to have a close integration with its online store; Sony Online Service where music, books and videos can be bought.
geen ruzie
There's no fighting between Sony Ericsson, but cooperation. The project will be managed by the chief of the Vaio and PSP-line.
