Newer pictures and info on BlackBerry slider
RIM is keeping up the motions. The Canadian manufacturer of BlackBerry phones is on the verge of releasing a slider phone of which we want to find out everything!
Does it concern a Storm or a Bold? And does it have a touchscreen SurePress, comparable to Storm and Storm2 or just capacitive? And on which OS does this black berry run?
Definitief
But let's start at the beginning? According to several sources the below pictures are legitimate as are the rumours; There will be a BlackBerry-slider. CrackBerry goes even further and announces that this is the definitive product and will be released under a whole new series. Not the Storm or Bold3.

BBLeaks, whom the pictures came from, thinks that it does concern the Bold. The absence of the SurePress technique, for which the Storm is renowned, leads to this assumption. Decisive is the fact that RIM is working on a touchscreen/QWERTY-hybrid for some time now, named 'Dakota'.

Furthermore CrackBerry claims to know that the touchscreen has 360 x 480 pixel resolution, which to us seems a bit on the low side since the Bold 9700 also has this. According to CrackBerry the device also runs on the new OS 6.

27 april
Finally a possible release date. The annual Wireless Enterprise Symposium is taking place from 27 to 29 in Florida, the place for BlackBerry loving fans to group up. A great opportunity for RIM to announce this BB? We certainly hope so.
