Apple sues HTC
A clash between Apple and HTC. The creator of iPhone is sueing the Taiwanese HTC for violation of at least 20 different patents.
These patents supposedly concern "the iPhone user interface, underlying architecture and the hardware". According to Apple CEO Steve Jobs, "competition is healthy, but competitors should create their own originality in stead of stealing it from us". Steve closes his argument with "we could lean back and watch our competitors steal our patented inventions Or we do something about it". They are doing something about it!
Apple sued the Finnish Nokia before for patent violation. Nokia reacted with a counter lawsuit.
