Sony Xperia 10 IV product details
The Sony Xperia 10 IV is the slightly more affordable alternative for owning a Sony Xperia phone. The device features an excellent screen and a triple Sony camera system.
One-of-a-kind Sony
In recent years, Sony has profiled itself as a brand for content creators. This resulted in high-end smartphones with specific features for those users and an exceptionally high price tag. Fortunately, for the common man, there is the Xperia 10 series. With this Xperia 10 IV, announced in 2022, you get a full-fledged Xperia phone that still has some special Sony techniques. One of them is the screen. Sony applies a somewhat unusual screen ratio of 21:9. Which results in a slightly stretched screen, but therefore ideal for watching movies. Sony does not go along with the trend of punch-holes or notches. This means that there is some extra space at the top and bottom of the screen. It looks a bit old fashioned but the screen is uninterrupted by this.

Durability first
Big plus of this Xperia 10 IV is its 5000mAh large battery. Spacious but not unique. Still, thanks to its many power saving features, it provides it with a long battery life of several days. What helps is that the screen cannot show more than 60Hz and the Snapdragon 695 processor is not a power eater. Because it is not a speed monster but rather economical that results in a long battery life for you. Although Sony prefers to use the word "durable". This is also underlined by the nonuse of plastic in the packaging and the omission of a charger. Even a cable is missing. And by making the casing waterproof, it lasts longer. At least, that is the intention.

Features Sony's camera technologies
On the camera front, Sony has adopted a triple-lensed system at the back. The primary camera features a 27mm wide-angle lens and 12MP large Xperia R sensor. The automatic mode of this is especially useful. Thanks to its speed, it is capable of shooting a suitable picture in almost any tricky situation. Things like ISO and shutter speed are set automatically for the best result. You also get access to an 8MP ultra wide-angle for landscapes and an 8MP telephoto of 54mm to optically zoom in 2x. This is indeed a limited zoom range but the fact that you get a telephoto lens for this amount is already very neat. In addition, you get optical image stabilization, Sony's famous HDR mode and various camera effects.
