Samsung Galaxy A14 product details
The Samsung Galaxy A14 is a more simpler phone from Samsung's popular Galaxy family. This offers advantages because it makes the smartphone very inexpensive. But does that make it a good buy? We looked into that and more for you.
Day ahead with big screen up front
For relatively little money, with the Galaxy A14 you get a phone with large 6.6-inch screen on which you can watch all your content for hours. The screen provides a sharp Full HD+ image which is equivalent to many flagships. The refresh rate is capped at 60Hz so animations don't look as smooth and fast as more expensive phones. But then again, that helps conserve battery life. Which, at 5000mAh, is big enough to last more than a day. You also receive two Android upgrades (i.e. Android 14 and Android 15) and four years of security updates.

More than fine photos
Snap pictures on the go with the 50MP rear main camera. It offers enough detail to capture everyday things in razor-sharp detail. There's also a 5MP ultra-wide-angle for landscapes and cityscapes, and a 2MP macro camera for close-ups. Up front, a 13MP shooter sits in a teardrop-shaped notch at the top of the screen. All in all, enough cameras and sensors to shoot a more than fine picture in numerous scenarios.

No shortage of space
Samsung has shaped the Galaxy A14 as a stylish smartphone with a clean design without much fuss. available colors are vibrant and have a luminous character. Inside, it uses an octa core processor with 4GB of RAM memory. Samsung can virtually expand this to 6GB thanks to RAM Plus. This involves using part of the storage memory as RAM memory. Clever, but it is slower. And you have to have that space. That may be a reason to opt for the 128GB model instead of 64GB after all. Also, if you want to use the storage purely for storage, you can always insert a memory card up to 1TB.
