POCO X3 Pro product details
The POCO X3 Pro is a flagship phone with a powerful processor, a smooth and large display and a quadruple camera system on the back. But the X3 Pro is also a phone with an almost unbelievably low price. Whether those two can coexist, we will try to find out here.
Powerful performance for gaming
POCO seems to have done it again with the X3 Pro: a phone with the most important specifications but for an incredibly low price. That starts with its performance. That seems guaranteed with a Snapdragon 860 processor from Qualcomm. That's an overclocked version of the 2019 Snapdragon 855. Qualcomm has since released more powerful chipsets but this 860 comes along nicely. For example, you can game with it effortlessly. Unfortunately, the processor doesn't support 5G but you can just get on 4G.

DotDisplay proves to be a fast guy
The screen is another big plus. On the front of the X3 Pro, we find a 6.67-inch DotDisplay. That's a fancy name from POCO for a sharp screen with a small hole at the top for the 20MP selfie camera. Yet, the most special thing about the screen is the high refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. The faster images can be refreshed, the smoother they look. This is ideal when flipping through a page or during other animations. By being able to switch between 50 and 120 Hz, the X3 Pro can both save battery and look very smooth. The screen is also extra sturdy because it is protected by Gorilla Glass 6. That glass should still be in one piece after 15 falls to 1.6 meters.

Little to complain about
On the back of the X3 Pro we see a professional looking camera system consisting of four different cameras; a 48MP main camera with f/1.79 lens, an 8MP ultra wide angle, 2MP macro for extreme close-ups and a 2MP depth camera. You don't need to buy this POCO for the latter two, but the main camera shoots pretty decent photos and even has a special night mode. The housing is slightly splash resistant with an IP53 rating, has an infrared transmitter to control your TV and a 3.5mm audio jack to plug in headphones. There are dual speakers for surround sound and there is a 5160 mAh battery with 33W fast charging. That's big enough to get you through an entire day. But then when you see the price you can hardly believe it's right. Then you can't complain much else.
