Motorola edge 20 product details
As the head of the edge 20 series announced in 2021, the Motorola edge 20 is the most mainstream but not the most affordable. It's also not the most comprehensive. It is, however, the thinnest 5G phone Motorola has ever released. But whether it's worth your time, is something we are going to explain here.
Thinnest 5G phone ever from Motorola
6.99 millimeters. That's how thin this edge 20 is. That seems a lot thicker than the 5.19 millimeters of Motorola's thinnest smartphone ever, the Moto Z, but that wasn't a 5G phone. This edge 20 is. That means you can use it for blazing fast internet. If you have a 5G subscription. If you don't have one, consider that you might have one in a year's time. And if you don't want to spend more money on a phone by then, it's a good idea to take this with you. And you can take the edge 20 with you, because with its 4000 mAh battery, you'll have enough power to last you a full day of phone fun.

Versatile 108MP Camera
The front of this edge 20 consists of a large 6.7-inch display. It uses an OLED panel with a high color range and smooth display. With a 144 Hz screen refresh rate, it is even smoother than many competitors who are sitting at 120 Hz. You use the screen to review photos and videos that you have shot with the triple camera on the back. The main sensor measures 108MP and features Ultra Pixel technology that lets you shoot photos in a 12MP resolution. Due to the fact that the pixels are 2.1 microns in size, they catch much more light, which results in better exposed photos. At least in theory, because even this 108MP sensor sometimes fails in low-light situations. There is also a 16MP ultra wide-angle camera with 119° viewing angle that can also take macro photos. The third and last camera is a 3x telephoto of 8MP. All in all, it is a fine camera with the right lenses and with sufficient possibilities.
Main Motorola edge 20 specifications

- 108+16+8MP camera with 119° wide angle, macro and 3x zoom + 4K video
- 32MP selfie camera in small screen hole + 4K video
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor with generous 8GB of RAM memory
- 128GB non-expandable storage

- 5G, 4G, 3G and 2G internet support for fast mobile internet
Ready For
Inside the edge 20, we find a Snapdragon 778G processor from Qualcomm. This is one step below the top series, making it powerful enough for the average user. There is an ample 8GB of RAM memory and due to a fairly bare version of Android, the performance is good. The storage memory is also on the large side with 128GB. That is a good thing, because it is not expandable. This edge 20 is suitable for Ready For, which means that you can connect a TV or PC monitor. You then watch a video on the large screen or operate your phone with a keyboard or mouse. You will still need to buy a dock or USB/HDMI cable because it is not included.
