OLED vs LCD

Those who want a somewhat affordable smartphone usually get an LCD screen, while OLED is more beautiful. What do we mean by that? The image of a screen is composed of many tiny pixels. In the case of an LCD panel, these do not emit light of their own accord. You need backlighting to get an image. The result is a somewhat washed-out image, pale even, with little contrast.
