Nokia N87 with 12 megapix camera and xenon flash in the making?
Nokia didn't want to join the megapix race and weren't appreciated for it. The logical follow-up for the 8 megapix is a 12 megapix device. It this the first evidence?
We remember that at the beginning of this year at the MWC air in Barcelona one after the other producer introduced an 8 megapixel cameraphone. And Nokia? Halfway through the fair all of a sudden they displayed the N86 8MP at their stand. No fancy press event, no hodgepodge. And yet the Nokia N86 8MP is worth a reference as appears from our N86 review.
Which is the logical successor? Exactly, the N87with 12 megapixel and a xenon flash...at least according to a dubious YouTube movie. In all honesty, the N87 12MP sounds a logical successor and the specs are quite attractive.
What to think of a 3.2 inch capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. Inside a 600 MHz fast processor. We have to confess, there are faster ones, but often they have to drag a "relatively" slow operating system with them.
