HTC portfolio for first half of 2010 exposed
You can wait for it to happen every year, so it did happen again! The complete HTC portfolio for the first half of 2010 has been leaked, including image materials and specs of the Legend, Salsa, Tide, Buzz, Bravo, Photon, Trophy and Tera.
It appears that HTC has classified its devices in 4 categories; Design, performance, Social and Productivity. It is no surprise that the devices run on Windows Mobile 6.5 or Android.
HTC Legend
The HTC Legend is a lean Android smartphone of 111 x 57 x 11,4 millimeters. As the device is a 3.5G it's being supported by both UMTS and HSDPA.
More interesting is the touchscreen; AMOLED with a 3.2 inch capacitive diameter. The 5 megapix camera has a flash. Of course this device has GPS with A-GPS support and a compass. The 600 Mhz processor is fast and the battery is substantial with 1.300. According to the sheets the Legend will be introduced in March 2010.
HTC Salsa
Together with the Legend it's part of the Design category; the swinging Salsa. With its complete keyboard it could easily have belonged to the Social category. This device is also quite lean; 8.5 millimetesr. The Salsa is 115 millimeters long and 65 wide. Android is its driving force.
According to the specs, Salsa's screen is a 2.8 inch QVGA resolution touchscreen. It has a 3.2 megapixel camera. Furthemore it contains a FM radio, GPS, microSDHC memeorycardlock and a 3.5 audio jack connection. The processorpower comes from a Qualcomm 528 MHz battery, size of 1.100 mAh. As of June 2010 we can expect HTC Salsa.
HTC Tide
This one belongs in the Social category; the HTC Tide. Again provided with Android and a semi-complete keyboard which makes the Tide utmost viable for getting access to social networks.
As part of the properties it has HSDPA support, a 2.68 inch QVGA resolution touchscreen. Also WiFi, GPS and a built in compass are included. As with the other devices a 528 Mhz processor and a 1.130 mAh battery is included. The Tide is expected somewhere in April 2010.
HTC Buzz
The Buzz is the last device in the Social category and also provided with Android. Her measures are 05 x 60 en 11 millimeters. As a camera they have chosen the 5 megapixel type with flash.variant met flitser, facerecognition and autofocus. It is also possible to tag faces.
The Buzz has a 528 MHz Qualcomm processor and 1.200 mAh battery. To be expected in May 2010.
HTC Bravo

The HTC Bravo is operated with the large 3.7 inch WVGA resolution touchscreen, type AMOLED and capacitive. We are already very curious for this device. A 5.0 megapixel camera is capable of recoprding 720p HD video. The battery is 1.400 mAh. The BRavo can be expected in April 2010.
HTC Photon
The Photon is part of the 'productivity' family and is therefore provided with a complete keyboard which simplify and ease typing texts. The Photon is the first Windows Mobile 6.5 device we encounter in the portfolio.
The HTC Photon has a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and a 3.2 inch HVGA resolution touchscreen. The screen is capacitive for easy use. The driving force behind the Photon is a Qualcomm processor which runs on 600 MHz. To be expected in April 2010.
HTC Trophy
As of May 2010 we can welcome the HTC Trophy. The Trophy is a Windows Phone and just like the Photon provided with the same processor. However this device has a 3.0 inch VGA resolution capacitive touchscreen.
Furthermore the Trophy has a 1.400 mAh battery, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS with A-GPS support, an FM radio receiver, a 5 megapixel camera and support for fast internet.
HTC Tera
The last device, the HTC Tera, is part of the 'productivity' category. As for its looks it seems to be the successor of the HTC Touch Pro2. Windows Mobile 6.5!!
MEasurements of the Tera are 115 x 53 x 15.5 millimeters. The touchscreen measures 3.0 inch and is unfortunately resistive in stead of capacitive. It contains a 3.2 megapixel camera and a 600 Mhz processor. According to the source the Tera will appear in april 2010.
