Samsung shows new generation AMOLED screens
Samsung showed the world prototypes of new AMOLED technology. In a YoutTube video, we see bended and transparent screens. Although an actual application of the screens remains unknown, the screens look pretty good.
Samsung showed the screens on the same FPD-event where the 10.1 inch Galaxy Tab was first spotted. The AMOLED technology is making good progress, as we see in the video. It makes many new devices and functions possible.
Transparent screen
Another innovation that can be seen in the video is a see-trough AMOLED screen, that only shows images on the front side. Unfortunately, it remains unknown when we will see this technolgy in stores. We expect that we'd have to wait a year at least..
