Video comparison Windows Phone 7 vs iPhone vs Android
We don't have to wait much more longer before you'll see Windows Phone 7 everywhere you look. Time to look how it stands up against the iPhone and Google Nexus One with Android. Do we all want WP7 or are we looking to at a disappointment?
And after watching the video's below we think Microsoft has a true winner! We find it remarkable how Microsoft managed to come up with something completely 'new'. Of course its still a smartphone with smartphone-functions, but it kinda looks new and fresh.
When looking to the demonstration it becomes clear Android tried to copied the iPhone, and some more. Its become a very advanced platform, most suitable for the die hard gadgeteers! The iPhone is basic and therefore easy to learn. When you are a first to smartphones you should grap yourself an iPhone. Microsoft seems to aim for the middle, a wise decision. To bad its a bit grey/black-colored. On the other side the animations and menu transitions look nice and smooth!
And finally a demonstration of the homescreen and camera application of Windows Phone 7 itself. We think the homescreen is a good idea, though it has some similar functionality with the lockscreen.
