Again rumours about Dell smartphone
In the beginning of this year a rumour spread about Dell having plans for a Android based smartphone. This time the rumour has been repeated by the one and only Michael Dell, yes, the CEO of Dell itself.
In a interview with Om Malik from the website GigaOM the CEO said that he didn't expect the smartphone to be introduced in a short term, but Dell is very interested in platforms like Android and Symbian. These surroundings offer an interesting and quick way to provide a headset of your own.
And like a politic correct CEO sir Dell ends with the neutral words:
"We’re not ready to publicly disclose our plans there... We’re kind of working on that.".
