Dutch EU Commissioner is considering to investigate Apple's App Store. The commissioner wants to start an antritust case against the Cupertino-based phone manufacturer. According to the Mac Observer, the investigation can have major consequences.

Legislation may lead to Apple being forced to allow third parties to create a development platform for iOS. It could open the doors for Flash on the iPhone.

Not only Apple

Kroes does not only aim at Apple, but also at other mobile operating systems with an application store. As Apple is the leader in this market, it will be hit the most en hardest if new EU rules will be set.
