Sony Xperia 5 VI seen early thanks to case maker
After the introduction of the Xperia 1 VI and Xperia 10 VI, the next expected Sony phone is the Xperia 5 VI. And it shows itself today for the most part. A phone case manufacturer gives us the first pictures.
The Sony Xperia 5 VI sits between the high-end Xperia 1 VI and cheaper Xperia 10 VI in terms of specifications. Although the device inherits more genes from the Xperia 1 Mark 6 than from the 10 VI. Something we will also see reflected in the price.
Should Sony announce the 5 VI, Spigen already has a matching case ready. In fact, Spigen is already offering the above product at a German retailer, including an image of Sony's still unannounced phone.
New LED flash
The images teach us that the Sony Xperia 5 VI will still have bars above and below the screen, just like current Xperia phones. At the back are two cameras but the flash is different in shape.
Compared to the Xperia 5 V, the device still features a fingerprint scanner on the side. We also find the volume buttons and a camera shutter button on the right. On top we see a 3.5mm audio port with a USB-C port at the bottom for charging.

Exact specifications such as screen resolution, processor type and what cameras the device will have are still unknown. The wait is for an official unveiling from Sony. This is expected in September of 2024.
