Will BlackBerry Pearl have a complete keyboard?
Would you like a BlackBerry less then 50 millimeters wide? That's the BlackBerry from the Pearl-series. The drawback is the SureType keyboard, which you'll have to like. A change is on its way.
From the below image we conclude that RIM is working on a new keyboard for a new Pearl. And in stead of the usual SureType-type it concerns a full and complete QWERTY keyboard. It seems a bit tight, but Nokia has proven with the E71 that it is certainly possible.
The image is made by an online parts-manufacturer, who claims that the part belongs to the non-official Pearl 9100. Images of it emerged before, with SureType. Whether the part really belongs to the Pearl 9100 or another unknown Blackberry, remains unclear.
Fact is that the BlackBerry Pearl family needs a new member. The last Pearl dates from 2008.
