Sony expands Xperia NXT series; Xperia U and Xperia P launched
As expected, Sony officially announced the Xperia P and U at the eve of the MWC in Barcelona. The phones are smaller and cheaper versions of the Xperia S and part of the new Xperia NXT series.
Like the Xperia S , the Xperia P and Xperia U have a dualcore processor. Sony promises a fast user experience. In addition, almost all Sony integrated services are supported. The Xperia P has, as expected, a large 4 inch Reality Display with "White Magic" technology and is wrapped in an aluminum unibody.
The Xperia U gets a Reality Display which is 3.5 inch wide and also a 5 megapixel camera. A gimmick is the transparent strip at the bottom of the device, which can light up in multiple colors. Both the Xperia U and the aforementioned Xperia P will come sometime in the second quarter of 2012 in several colors.
