Start exploringThe Samsung Galaxy A34 is a phone for the Average Joe with specifications that will appeal to many people. And it's relatively inexpensive, too. What price it has, how much you get for that, and whether that's a good deal are things you can read here.
We tend to repeat ourselves, but it's true. Nowadays you get a lot of worth for your money. Back then, only the most expensive phones came with waterproof IP67 casing, super smooth 120Hz screens, large fast-charge batteries, and multiple cameras. Nowadays, even so-called mid-range phones have these features. And this Galaxy A34 5G falls precisely in this category.
On the front side of the A34 5G, we find a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED screen. That image is not only very bright (up to 1000 nits) but also very smooth. It can refresh images up to 120 times per second, making transitions and animations look very smooth. At the top sits a 13MP selfie camera. Fine for everyday selfies and video calling. On the back, we find three more cameras. A 48MP primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS). In this price range, this is pretty special because it produces much sharper images, even during low light. The other cameras aren't bad, either. An 8MP ultra-wide angle to capture landscapes in one shot and a high 5MP resolution macro camera. That's sharp enough to take close-ups at very close range.
Samsung bought in from competitors for the processor. Instead of its Exynos processor, the Galaxy A34 5G uses the MediaTek Dimensity 1080. This octa-core processor features 5G for fast Internet browsing on the go. Versions are available with 6 and 8GB of RAM and 128 and 256GB of storage. There is room for an external memory card, so lack of space is rarely an issue. The battery is also quite spacious, at 5000mAh. It can be charged quickly with 25W, although Samsung says it needs to be charged every two days. Further neat is that Samsung still provides updates until at least March 2027.
