Oppo Reno Z product details
The Oppo Reno Z is a surprising phone with a modern look and feel. Of course the Reno Z is a smartphone but Oppo does most things just a little bit different. We'd like to explain exactly what we mean by that and whether all solutions are equally meaningful and practical.
Large but not unnecessarily large
First of all, some figures. The screen measures a generous 6.4 inches, the rear camera goes up to 48 megapixels, the storage memory has a generous 128 GB and the battery is capped at 4035 mAh. Fun but what can you do with all that? First of all, the Oppo Reno Z is a big phone. One that only just fits in your pocket. Because Oppo has kept the screen edges thin it is still relatively compact. The whole phone is made of Gorilla Glass 5. That is robust but not unbreakable. The camera module doesn't protrude but to prevent scratches on the lens, Oppo has cleverly placed a dot. Your camera leans on this O-Dot which has an anti-wear structure.
Impressive camera setup, not overwhelming
There's a double camera on the back. The main camera has a 48 megapixel sensor and captures extra detail. Not only photos, but also videos are razor-sharp thanks to the 4K recording option. There is electric image stabilization so you don't shoot jerky videos. The second camera is a 5 megapixel one that is mainly meant to see depth. A camera cannot do without a lens and Oppo chooses for the Reno Z for a bright f/1.7 copy. This allows enough light to pass through even in the dark for clear shots. The Ultra Night Mode 2.0 suppresses noise and reduces the shutter speed so that you can take sharp night shots without any effort. Finally, the selfie camera has 32 megapixels and features a beauty mode that automatically enhances your selfies.

Spacious, fast and durable
The Oppo Reno Z is available in a version with 128GB of storage memory, more than enough for all content such as photos, videos and music. There is no possibility to expand this, but as said, that shouldn't be a problem. There are versions with 4 and 8 GB of RAM memory, but only the first one is available here. The battery comes with a capacity of 4035 mAh which is nice and spacious. So don't expect to run to a wall socket in the middle of the day. And if you do, the Reno Z will be filled up quickly because of the built-in quick charge technology. It's VOOC Flash Charge 3.0 that besides fast also makes sure your battery stays in good condition longer. Did we forget anything else? Stuck! The stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, the intuitive ColorOS and of course the colorful Aurora Purple version in which it is available.
