The Motorola Moto G100 is a powerful phone from Motorola's popular G series. That this is a premium phone is evident from the powerful Snapdragon 870 processor and that it is Ready For Dock compatible. Find out what this means and if it's something for you.
The Moto G100 is equipped with a 6.7-inch FHD+ 90Hz CinemaVision display. That means it's a big screen, with a sharp and smooth display. Modern and up to date. It is a vivid IPS screen with colorful HDR10 support. Striking about it is the double selfie camera in the top left corner. It is a regular 16MP camera and an 8MP ultra-wide angle for group selfies. There are also numerous selfie features such as smile timer, gesture recognition, live filters and spot color. Plenty to play with, then.
At the back, the camera world goes on a bit more. There it seems there is a quadruple camera but in reality its three. The 64MP main camera is capable of recording video in 6K resolution. Using the 2MP depth camera, you can shoot beautiful portrait shots with blurred background. Then there's a 16MP camera with ultra-wide-angle lens for wide shots. This also serves as a macro camera and can take sharp pictures at very close range. The fourth hole is for the TOF Advanced Laser Autofocus, which allows the G100 to focus at lightning speed. The camera thus seems to have everything in house to be able to take a good photo in almost any situation. Unfortunately, it lacks optical image stabilization (OIS), which increases the chance of blurry photos.
This Moto G100 is Ready For compatible. This allows you to connect it to a larger screen such as TV or monitor. For gaming or video calling. If you record video of yourself, the G100 will keep your head in the picture. As if you have your own camera staff employed. And paired with a PC, you can control your phone as well as access content. Ready For for the Moto G100 is wired only. Just place your G100 in the included Ready For Dock and plug in the cable to get started.
