A mobile phone or smartphone doesn't have to be expensive. This is because the prices of telephones have fallen enormously in recent years, partly due to the enormous amount of competition. That's good for you. You'll see that right back in the wallet. The models mentioned here cost a maximum of 125 euro although you can always expand or reduce that with the filter.
Budget phone search
Budget does not necessarily mean easy today. You can even get a smartphone with a camera for little money now. Now one budget phone is not the other so compare specifications and read reviews to separate the wheat from the chaff. It's good to think in advance what you need the phone for. Are you a novice smartphone user, do you just want to be reachable or do you just need a second mobile? Keep an eye on the price and select the specifications/functions you need.
Budget smartphones
Affordable smartphones certainly exist, even for around 125 euros. A manufacturer only had to do a few consessions, think of cheaper materials, simpler specifications and less storage memory. So don't expect an extremely good camera phone for this amount. The most affordable smartphones in this price segment run Android; Google's mobile operating system. This allows you to use apps such as YouTube, Instagram and Snapchat. A tip for those who need an inexpensive smartphone is to pick a mid-range smartphone from last year that has fallen sharply in price. It usually has slightly more extensive functions than models that come out new.
Featurephone or dumbphone
If you just want an old-fashioned, simple, affordable phone without bells and whistles, you can turn off the 'touchscreen' filter. Then you only get to see the so-called featurephones and dumbphones. That's a classic mobile phone with a battery life of one week, with which you can simply be reached. They don't have a touch-sensitive touch screen but rather a numeric keyboard underneath the screen that you can press. There are also models available with a rugged housing, ideal for people who work outdoors.
