Earlier than its official launch in the Netherlands, we bring you the review of the Apple iPhone 5S. The device has been made available by Belsimpel.nl that offers the device earlier than normal. The introduction of the iPhone 5S didn't really come with any surprises, except for the fact that Apple deviated from the habit of announcing just one new model. Besides the 5S, the plastic made iPhone 5C was announced. The previous model went straight into the trash and the iPhone 4S would become the new entry-level model. The Apple iPhone 5s is yet another stunning piece of engineering from Apple. In terms of looks, finishes and details, it is perhaps more beautiful than the new iPhone 6. The iPhone 5s is also the first iPhone from Apple to be equipped with a fingerprint scanner.

And with this, Apple is starting a new revolution. You no longer secure your iPhone with a simple 4-digit code, no you unlock your iPhone thanks to your own unique fingerprint. You can authorize up to five different fingers and in addition to unlocking your iPhone 5s, you can also use it to make payments in the App Store. No matter how you place your finger on the home button, the iPhone 5s reads it in a split second, making it lightning fast.

Diverse camera improvements

Apple always focuses on the camera in iPhones whose name ends in an "S". This iPhone 5s is no different. The number of megapixels may have remained stuck at 8, but the aperture and sensor have been increased. This allows you to take great pictures in dark conditions with the iPhone 5s. The camera app has also received the necessary attention. Video can be shot in slow motion with the iPhone 5s at 120 frames per second. This opens up whole new possibilities.
