We had already seen press renders showing the entire S24 series, but not yet individually. Those of the Galaxy S24 have been published today in all future color versions.
The Galaxy S24 renders appeared at Android Headlines. We see the future flagship from all sides and in all colors. They are 'Onyx Black,' 'Cobalt Violet,' 'Marble Gray,' and 'Amber Yellow.'
Today's leak brings us specifications in addition to images. Many of these have been mentioned elsewhere, but some are new, like the display with an adaptive refresh rate of between 48 and 120 Hz and a maximum peak brightness of 2,500 nits. For this, Samsung uses its new M13 OLED panel.
Two different processors
As is well known by now, the Samsung Galaxy S24 comes out in two variants. One has an Exynos 2400 processor intended for sale in the EU and a version with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor for sale in the US. Unfortunately, this also applies to the S24+, which was previously rumored to give Europe only the version with Snapdragon.
The S24 cameras will be largely unchanged. In terms of specifications, that is. The primary camera is expected to have a 50MP sensor, the ultra-wide camera is expected to have a 10MP sensor, and the same number of megapixels goes to the telephoto lens with 3x zoom. The S23 had a 12MP ultra-wide angle. Change is, therefore, expected to come from software. One UI 6.1, according to rumors, should be packed with new AI features.
Slightly larger battery, still relatively small
The battery capacity of the S24 is expected to be 4000 mAh in size, according to Android Headlines. That sounds small for flagship standards, but it is 100 mAh more than in the Galaxy S23. Unfortunately, nothing changes in terms of charging speeds. It lags behind the rest by up to 25 watts.
Samsung will announce the Galaxy S24 series in early 2024. In addition to the four colors above, expect the same price as last year. That should convince customers to purchase one in times of skyrocketing inflation.
