Nothing has only announced a Phone a version once before, yet it seems to want to do so every year. In fact, information has surfaced about the Nothing Phone (3a) due out in 2025. This one, despite its expected low price tag, will get a genuine Snapdragon processor.
At the time, Nothing equipped the Nothing Phone (2a) with a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro to. This chipset was customized specifically for the Phone (2a). You might expect that this would make the partnership between Nothing and MediaTek very close, but that appears to be only temporary.
.Because indications are that the Nothing Phone (3a) will use a Qualcomm processor. To be exact, the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3. This chipset, announced in August 2024, we have yet to find in any phone to date.
Two more models
At the time, Nothing also released a Plus version of the Nothing Phone 2a, also with a MediaTek processor. Whether the future Phone 3a Plus will soon also switch to a Snapdragon chip is still unknown. In addition, Nothing also plans to release another phone under its CMF sub-brand, bringing the total to three.
