OnePlus has posted a short video on Weibo showing the OnePlus 11. Unfortunately, we don't get a full view of the device yet, but we do see the return of the Alert Slider.
For years, OnePlus phones came out with an Alert Slider. This slider button could be set in three modes; silent, vibrate, and ring. But the beloved button disappeared with the introduction of the OnePlus 10T. Much to the dismay of fans. But the button is making a comeback, OnePlus now confirms.
Because in a video posted by the company on Weibo, we see the OnePlus 11 with an Alert Slider. Making the omission of the button short-lived. Earlier, we also saw the button on renders of what we then thought was the OnePlus 11 Pro. We now know that this is the same device as this OnePlus 11. Furthermore, the short video shows a round Hasselblad camera module.
“Future performance leader”
Along the video, OnePlus writes that the new generation of OnePlus' flagship will be very powerful. This is presumably a hint of using Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. This new chipset has already been spotted inside the Xiaomi 13 Pro and the Motorola X40.
When the launch of the OnePlus 11 will take place, we do not yet know. OnePlus is not making any remarks about that yet. Except that the OnePlus 11 will be announced soon. To be continued.
