Phone batteries are getting bigger and bigger. Your Nokia 3310 still had a 900 mAh battery, the first iPhone had a 1400 mAh battery, and nowadays 5000 mAh is very common. And while the latter was a hard upper limit for a long time, we see it being broken more and more often. Realme even by head and shoulders.
Because the realme Neo7, a flagship to be released on Dec. 11, comes with a yucky 7,000 mAh battery. That's a whopping 1500 mAh more than its predecessor. The only drawback is that the Neo7 is only for the Chinese market for now.
This information comes from realme itself, which posted it on Weibo. A 7000mAh large battery is enough for a three-day-long battery life, according to realme. We need not fear that this will make the Neo7 very thick; at 8.5 millimeters, the device is no thicker than one with a 5000mAh large battery.
Well big, no record
Despite the fact that 7000mAh is very large, it is not a record. The Energizer Hard Case P28K had a 28,000mAh battery and weighed a good half a kilo. And even the realme GT 7 Pro is not even that far off from the Neo7; it features a 6,500mAh battery and is just on sale here.
