The OnePlus 13 may already be available in China, but the rest of the world is still waiting for it. But not for long because OnePlus has announced when we too can buy it. And that includes the OnePlus 13R.
The launch event will take place on Jan. 7, 2025. This "Winter Launch Event" will start at 16:30 Central European Time and is likely to be live online. OnePlus will then announce the OnePlus 13 series consisting of the OnePlus 13 and the OnePlus 13R.
.The '13' succeeds the OnePlus 12 and thus should be seen as the true flagship. The 13R is its affordable little brother but still powerful enough for full-fledged gaming. This device is likely to be the global version of the Ace 5 available in China.
Expected OnePlus 13 specifications
Previous rumors spoke for the OnePlus 13 about a smartphone with a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, 6000 mAh large battery and 100W fast charging. Presumably, OnePlus will again have put the necessary energy into the display and camera. It may have had help again from BOE and Hasselblad, respectively.
