Some Linux-experts, united in 'webOS Internals', take some time to take a look at the source of webOS 2.0. They found a clear indication that more handset running webOS 2.0 are to be launched.
Four names of HP/Palm phones that were unknown until now could be found in the source code. Broadway, Windsor, Mantaray and Stingray. Ik gives the hope for more mobiel devices form HP/Palm, although we do not know anything more about the handsets right now.
More webOS
The advent of more phones and tablets from HP/Palm is good news for fans of webOS. Expectation is that HP/Palm will launch phones in different form-factors. At the moment, choices are few. It's either a portrait-slider, Pre 2, or a candybar, Pixi. Adding a landscape-slider and a phone without physical keyboard would only increase the reach of webOS.
Same handsets on the picture?
We'd think that some of the names are for phones of which a picture was leaked lately. We're excited to hear more from HP/Palm, and will inform you as soon as we know more!
