After the C3, Nokia comes with another candybar with QWERTY keyboard. The X2-01 runs Nokias own operating system S40. The handset comes with few modern techniques on board, making it possible to come in stores for a low price.
The X2-01 will be fitted with a music player, video player and FM radio. The handset is Quad band, and measures 11,9 x 6 x 1,43 cm. The handset weighs 114 grams, and will be available in grey, white, red and purple.
No Wifi, No 3G
That the X2-01 is a budget handset becomes even clearer when we look at the techniques on board: the phone has no wifi, nor 3G. Mobile data can only be received and sent over GPRS and EDGE. The phone is said to be launched at the end of this year. The price will be about 120 euros.
