After earlier leaks of press images, the Motorola Moto G200 5G has finally been announced. Despite being part of the G-series, this is a high-end device with Snapdragon 888+ processor and a 108MP camera. However, it comes with an economical price tag.
A high-end smartphone at a mid-range price. That in a nutshell is the Moto G200 5G. It features a large 6.8-inch screen, smooth 144Hz screen refresh, sharp FHD+ resolution but without an integrated fingerprint scanner. That's on the side of the G200
On the back, we find a 108MP main camera with f/1.9 lens, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle and another 2MP depth camera. Video can be shot in up to 4K but at up to 30fps. On the front is a 16MP selfie shooter with an f/2.2 lens. Like the main camera, this sensor does Quad Pixel technology where 4 pixels are merged into 1. While this lowers the resolution, it increases the sharpness and clarity.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+
The biggest pluses of the Moto G200 are found inside. There, we find a Snapdragon 888+ processor; a high-end chipset from Qualcomm. This has access to 8GB of RAM memory. For the end user, there is 128GB to spend. The battery has a capacity of 5000mAh and can be charged quickly with 33W. But only wired, because there is no wireless charging.
Expect the Motorola Moto G200 to hit stores soon for a suggested retail price of €449.99 in Glacier Green and Stellar Blue colors. The Moto G200 is part of Motorola's Ready For platform, which means you can also pair it with your computer screen or TV.
