In addition to introducing the Oppo Find X8 and X8 Pro, Oppo also announced the global launch of ColorOS 15. This shell built on Android 15 can be found on numerous Oppo phones including the newly announced X8 series. But older Oppo phones are also getting the update. When and which ones exactly read here.
Oppo is giving itself from November 2024 to the second quarter of 2025 to roll out ColorOS 15. At issue are models from the Find and Reno series. Interestingly, Oppo is not starting immediately with the latest Reno models.

Oppo says it has tweaked 800 components making everything look even sleeker, more modern and fluid. ColorOS 15 should be 18% more responsive than its predecessor and 40% more stable.
