With the Motorola Moto G72, Lenovo announced a phone that loves big numbers. Indeed, at the back sits a camera with 108 million pixels; on the front, we find a screen with support for up to one billion colors. What is not a big number is the suggested retail price.
Its name seems to suggest that the G72 is the successor to the G71. But it isn't. In fact, the G71 is a 5G phone and this G72 is not. It is, however, a phone with a 108MP main camera, 8MP wide-angle, 2MP macro, and a 6.6-inch AMOLED screen. With the former, you can shoot razor-sharp pictures; with the latter, you view them in high resolution and with 10-bit colors.
Also decent is the screen refresh rate. That sits high at 120Hz, especially when considering its recommended retail price. Namely, that is €299.99. Consumers can Choose between Meteorite Gray, Mineral White, and Polar Blue colors. Storage memory is always 128GB and is expandable up to a maximum of 1TB. Regarding RAM, there will be options of 6 and 8GB in size.
Speed charger included
.
The Motorola Moto G72 features a 5000mAh battery with support for 30W fast charging. The required charger for this is included in the box, and it is possible to plug in your wired headphones. Two things that aren't obvious these days. The Moto G72 owes its performance to the built-in MediaTek Helio G99 processor.
Moto G72 availability
Also worth mentioning are the stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support, the integrated FM radio receiver, and an in-screen fingerprint scanner. The exterior is IP52 splash resistant, and the device comes with Android 12 with Lenovo's own My UX interface on top. Expect the Moto G72 to hit stores in mid-November 2022.
