Sony's current flagship is now available in a new color; Scarlet. This red variant stands out more than the current Black, Green and Silver. A new color is not the only thing this version brings.
The dark red Xperia 1 VI features a matte back with double the storage memory inside. Whereas the other Sony Xperia 1 VI colors come with 256GB of storage, this Scarlet variant has a whopping 512GB.
Other specifications have remained the same. So you'll still find an Exmor T sensor, a true telephoto zoom lens that can zoom between 3.5 and 7.1 and a Bravia screen that we also know from Sony TVs. Of course, the Sony Xperia 1 VI is equipped with a physical shutter button, just like a real camera.
Xperia 1 VI objections
Obviously, the device has been praised in reviews for its camera system. On the other hand, the price of the device is perceived as high and the 30W charging is not very fast today. The Xperia 1 VI Scarlet does not change either of these objections. The red version costs €1499 and still charges at a maximum of 30W.
