The iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro announced this week can be preordered as of today. Those who do will receive a copy on October 23rd. The iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 Pro Max, also announced today, can only be ordered from 6 November.
Normally, new iPhone models can be ordered at the same time, but Covid-19 may also throw a spanner in the works here. However, the standard iPhone 12 and the more extensive iPhone 12 Pro can be ordered as of today. Apple will deliver copies one week later on October 23rd. The new generation iPhones have a slightly altered look with flat edges, slightly better cameras and MagSafe.
Most progress seems to go to the iPhone 12. There, the now outdated LCD screen has been exchanged for an OLED panel that also has double the resolution. As of today you can order in advance from various webshops and operators but also from Apple's own website. The advantage of ordering through an operator is that some of them give between 80 and 100 euro discount on the purchase of a set AirPods
- KPN: £100 off Apple AirPods
- Vodafone: £80 off Apple AirPods Pro
