The Apple news cycle is coming to an end again and so we are getting ready for the Samsung Galaxy S25 rumor mill. With today the S25 Ultra of which we may have the first images. They come from the usually reliable @onleaks but we do have our reservations.
We see a device with flat sides, something Samsung is currently using more often. Like all other manufacturers, for that matter, but that aside. For an Ultra, the device does not look so angular with more rounded corners, just as predicted.
But then our objections. We do not see in the render a cutout for the S Pen, something the S25 Ultra does feature. Or did we miss something? And the camera modules also look a bit simple, even a bit cheap.
Inconsistencies
@UniverseIce also names some of these aspects and attributes it to ambiguities in the CAD drawing that @onleaks usually relies on. These are rough build sketches where changes can still sneak in so close to launch. Though missing an S Pen slot is an obvious red flag if you ask us.
The wait now is for actual photos of the S25 Ultra, something that may be a while away. And if not, Samsung's official press renders, which also like to leak from time to time. We can talk about it.
